South Texas Back Thru Time Historical Association
The June 2008 Back Thru Time History Celebration seeks to enhance the economy in rural south central Texas by fostering increased tourism while highlighting the diverse and colorful history of the area. Participating sites may be businesses, museums, libraries, non-profit fundraising special events, historic building or sites, etc. Sites may be historic in themselves (such as a vintage building) or feature a history related exhibit, display, reenactment, or activity. If possible, site hosts are requested to dress in period attire to match the era of their site, activity, etc.Visitors seem to really enjoy period clothing and refreshments.
