Shiner Heritage Quilters
This is a picture of the quilt car that was "unveiled" at the Shiner Heritage Quilters first-ever quilt show in Shiner, March 20 and 21, 2009. The car was selected as the "best national quilting idea ever" by C&T Publishing Company, (national quilt day is March 21st), won 1st place in the Shiner Half-Moon Holidays Parade July 4, and second place in the Moulton Jamboree Parade July 26, 2009. It was featured on the front page of the Victoria Advocate March 20, edition and the Shiner Gazette, March 19th edition. The quilt was pieced and sewn together by guild members. It has become the "signature" of the guild.
