The Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum

It's such a delight to watch the construction of the new 4,500 square-foot, two-story addition on the north side of an existing historic building and to also have this glimpse of the progress being made to the interior.
Sal Valdez, economic development specialist, views the progress in the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum multi-purpose facilities on the second floor of the historic building.

A rich stain has been added to the woodwork, which is Southern Long Leaf Pine.
The "Blackwell Room" ...
The Blackwell family has purchased the first Naming Opportunity on the second floor of the historic building.

Painters put finishing touches on window trim and walls in the newly named, "Blackwell Room."

constructed adjacent to the historic building.
The second floor of this historic building is being adapted for multi-purpose community facilities for Cuero and the region.

The coffered ceiling in the main meeting room adds to the handsome appearance of multi-purpose community facility.
The color scheme throughout the historic building has been developed by Lewis Fisher of Fisher-Heck Architects in San Antonio.

A painter for Kelly Painting of Victoria is refinishing the original baseboards in 106 year old historic Knights of Pythias building.

Stuart Kalisek, site supervisor for Weaver-Jacobs Contractors of Cuero, lays out the wall pattern in the new Annex with the framing crews.

Workmen prepared the elevator lobby on second floor of two-story, 4,500 square foot Annex in Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum. This elevator will provide access to the multi-purpose community facilities, meeting rooms, restrooms and the catering kitchen.

Walls are currently being built on the ground level of the Annex. The ground level will provide museum entry,a gift shop, restrooms, an office and a storage facility.
